23 south past Duffield, take a left onto Rt. 65 (Clinchport). Go about 5 miles, make a left (can't remember road name). RCHS is on the right about 4 miles.

That left should be State Route 649 and it should be marked with a sign that says Rye Cove, also if there looks like a house right on the corner of the road, and I mean literally almost in the road you will know that is the road.

I believe it is now Rye Cove Memorial road with the E-911 change over to street names.

    Re: j.i.b. rye cove game

haha stripes. I remember about 4 years ago calling the Honaker at Rye Cove game. There was a slight mist in the air before the game, and it was already dark by 7 or so. Anyway, both teams come out. RC's band performs the national anthem, and just as it ends a medflight helicopter comes flying lowing to the field from over the concessions stand, going back toward Ft. Blackmore. That is the first high school fly over I have ever seen! It was perfect timing with the band.
